OPERATIONS & QUALITY CONTROL
Our industry experience of 23 years plus has come with alot of innovation, recruitments, assets acquisitions and mechanisations.
We employ qualified engineers and technical staff to run and maintain our machinery, including operating the computerized plant, ensuring quality, analyzing computer printouts and supervising other staff.
Our two batching plants have the capacity to produce 100 cubic meters of concrete every running hour, and we have the ability and staff to run operations for 24 hours. Our fleet comprises of 11 trucks, and 3 pumps, which have the ability to pump concrete to up to 40 meters horizontally.
Our entire operations are mechanized and automatic. Our ready mix plant, set on 5 acres of land, includes storage bins and silos for aggregate, sand, water, cement and additive mixtures.
Once the concrete has been loaded into the trucks by the machine, a slump test is carried out. For the slump test, some concrete is removed from the truck and put into a cone. The amount that the heap collapses determines the slump. This is carried out to ensure that there isn’t an excess of water in the concrete.
Commitment to accuracy
The plant has a computerized system with weighing belts, which measures the exact quantities to go into the mix, and gives a breakdown of the composition of each cubic meter of concrete produced. These reports can then be printed and analysed to ensure the strength and quality of concrete produced.
Thats how far we go in accurate weights, composition and time frames when it comes to concrete mixing.
All this mechanisation is spread accross all our works both in Uganda and Tanzania- Dar er salam.
We are soon opening our maiden branch in kenya and the same feet will be replicated to extend our ready concrete mix and water proofing services to the whole of the East African Region.
Concrete Testing
Buildings, whether industrial, homes or office blocks are made to house people. To Dippsi Concrete, life is key. We take our concrete mix & raw materials through a multi-process rigorous testing before its flagged for construction. This ensures strong, durable structures that power the nation.
